Open your heart beautiful woman, this is your feminine power.
Opening your heart is the portal to your feminine power. Your heart is the boss of your divine feminine energy in its totality. Your feminine soul depends on it to shine freely.
Women have a huge capacity to love and we validly long and strive to receive it equally as large. Do not hold it back. You are not needy or clingy. Your emotionality is not irrational or invalid. This is your divine feminine design. It takes courage to honor these big hearts of ours because some will not be ready to meet us. And that’s okay.
Our heart is the boss. Our emotions are energy in motion. When we withhold our emotions, suppress them, or fear them they end up as density. It creates pain. It blocks all the other energy trying to move through our being. It blocks spirits attempts to speak through our intuition and it disconnects us from the divine. It disconnects us from ourselves. It's like putting a dam up inside of you. It blocks everything. You can’t pick and choose what gets by. When you start to filter and shut down in certain pockets of yourself, everything begins to shut down and your spirit will begin to suffocate.
Opening our hearts in the vein of divine feminine energy is different than simply opening our heart chakra. As women, our hearts are more vast and complex than that.
Our divine feminine energy in nature is lustrous. As women, our hearts are innocently passionate. They long and desire grandiose love. Our feminine souls ache for it. The lust of our hearts being satiated and honored is what feeds our life force. Our hearts cannot be denied without grave consequences. Freeing our hearts is what opens us as sacred vessels of feminine power.
When it comes to opening our hearts in intimate relationships women are taught to detach from the longings of their hearts. They are taught to stuff their uninhibited feelings down, quiet their truth, and they are taught to shapeshift themselves into a desirable composed woman. They are taught that revealing the true swellings of their heart would expose them as being too needy and too much and that they would be rejected for longing so deeply.
The thing that is misunderstood about women’s lustful hearts is not that our hearts are reliant on another’s love to fulfill us. It’s the fact that being in a relationship with those who are triggered by our uninhibited love and lash out at it is painstakingly harmful to our spirit. It’s that being in a relationship with those who aren’t willing to let their love flow freely cuts us off from our own. It cuts us off from our true nature as women.
As women, we long to love deeply. It’s in our bones. It is our nature to love. As women, it’s not just that we long for love, but we long to love, and when the rest of the world's hearts aren’t open enough to go there, receive it, and be in communion it hurts. We want to experience the union of love but we also have to be wise enough to follow the pure threads of where this can happen.
Self-love is foundational for our personal power and nobody else’s love for us overrides our own process of self-forgiveness or cultivating strength and confidence in our sense of self. The other truth is that communing with those who are willing to open their hearts and don’t ask you to restrain yours, is incredibly healing.
Women were once known as two-hearted beings, heart, and womb. The heart is the keeper of love in its many forms while it channels the different embodiments of love through the many faces of the Goddess alive in the womb. It’s fierce love, unconditional love, playful and innocent love, and passionate wild love. The heart and womb being open together is where feminine power is unleashed. The heart must have the courage to expose the truth of the wisdom that lives in her womb.
Embodying and emanating the love of the Divine Mother — compassionate, and unconditional — is one of the most profound medicines we can offer to the hearts of the world around us, and emanating this within is one of the most profound medicines we can give to our own souls. Falling in love with ourselves keeps us from leeching onto one another in hopes that someone else can love us whole, it it prevents us from taking one another down in our own pain.
Having said this, the communion of love with others does provide us with something we can’t access on our own — and we are shamed for longing for this. We learn how to love ourselves through loving and being loved. Our hearts are woven with the collective heart and we are all a channel of divine love. We are not meant to thrive alone. If we could all surrender to this force of our heart space that wants to flow through each of us it would be a beautiful thing, but it’s terrifying and rightfully so.
Opening our hearts in this way is tender, vulnerable, and powerful. It removes the dam that allows everything to flow. It allows every breath of restriction, every tinge of pain, and every ounce of fear to move freely. It makes us susceptible to the deepest of pains but it also gives us access to the greatest of love.
It is truly courageous to set your heart free. Like a wild stallion or ocean, it’s beyond your control when we truly surrender but it’s the most liberating thing that we can do. It won’t happen overnight, it won’t happen in one go, it’s a lifelong journey of opening, retracting, and opening further.
Tending our feminine power and feminine hearts means doing our best to hold our center not letting another destabilize our own sense of love or truth. It means knowing it’s not personal when someone isn't ready to free fall with us and also means refusing to hold back or settle because we're afraid we’ll never find someone who will.
Opening your heart is the foundation of feminine awakening. It is the foundation of the Goddess awakening within. It's self-acceptance, self-love and self embrace and opening yourself to the world in the most vulnerable of ways. The risk is worth it. You get one life, and you owe it to your beautiful soul to go all in.
Know you're worthy of being surrounded by environments that accept the truth of that wild river that is moving through you. Our hearts thrive in creating a life for ourselves that welcomes this type of authenticity. The messy kind. The expansive kind. The shameless kind. The best kind.
This kind of embrace requires a regular practice of the holy pause. The holy pause of closing of your eyes while simply breathing and listening deep within. It’s the practice of cultivating the courage to hear what arises. It’s an act of building trust with your heart, teaching it that it is safe to speak honestly with you.
It’s an act of surrendering to the thinning veils that reveal the truths that are lingering beneath the surface. The truth that says you may have to leap, trust, walk away, or speak the unspoken that nobody else will touch. It’s having the courage to honor the truth that says I’m not happy or that I want more.
If we take a moment to sit in the holy pause, clarity will usually arise. Opening your heart and receiving these truths are the foundation of your feminine power. Your heart cannot be ignored, the fullness of your soul depends on you listening.
The feminine naturally emanates unconditional love and compassion. It's food for our feminine soul to offer this kind of love to the world. When we are shamed for longing for it and offering it, it starts to burrow underground and we begin to lose the courage and strength to embody our true essence.
When this energy is shamed, we are not only oppressing the very nature of our souls, the vibrancy of feminine love in the world at large is lost. Our feminine hearts can’t be contained without sacrificing the hearts of all of us. This is what we don’t seem to understand as a collective.
So I ask you. Open your heart as an act of love for all. Open your heart for your children and their children to come. Open your heart for your mother and her mother and her mother. Open your heart for your sisters, for your lovers, and for all the men who have equally been cut off from the divine feminine love in their own hearts.
Open your heart knowing it is one channel of the grand weaving of us all and you will inevitably inspire another to do the same in your courage.
Lots of love beautiful one,
Abby
